Surface offers a wide range of services to better serve our customers. These range from repairs to installation supervision and consulting as well as engineering and design. Whatever your need, Surface wants to partner with you from design and fabrication to installation and service. Please see the below list for descriptions on these services.

Surface specializes in a range of refurbishment and retrofit services from cleaning, blasting, painting and recertifying a used vessel to complete disassembly, repair and recertification of entire units such as DeHy, GREGG and BTEX skids.

Surface offers our customers the option of having a crew of our personnel on-site to oversee or conduct installation of Surface fabricated and other various ASME equipment. From contact tower installation to the installation and bringing into service of various other equipment, Surface has the ability to meet your needs.

Surface conducts its own heat treat services for vessels up to 12’H x 20’L x 8’W. We utilize these services both internally and to select customers from the local area.

Our plasma table is a hi-def plasma with a 8ft x 20ft water bed.  It is also equipped with two oxifuel torches.  With the plasma it can cut up to three inches in thickness and with the oxifuel it can cut up to six inches in thickness.

Surface’s new state of the art paint and blast facilities include a newly constructed 80’L x 30’W x 20’H paint booth that helps minimize the impact of weather related issues and keep us on track with your project.

From basic vessel repairs using our ASME “R” stamp to flange facing and machining and all the way to turn-key slug catcher installations, Surface is the perfect company to help insure an efficient and timely project completion.

Surface prides itself on providing solutions to meet our customer's needs. We rely heavily on a team of professionals in engineering and production to bring the best ideas to the table. We validate these ideas with Promax, a process simulation software, and we use Compress to perform all ASME Section VIII code calculations on pressure vessels. Once the specifications are validated, the project is ready for detailed design. We can produce a 2D drawing in AutoCAD and if necessary we can build a 3D model in SolidWorks.

With our vast network of certified ASME subcontractors and other service providers, Surface is confident that if your project doesn’t fit well with our in-house capabilities, we can assist you in finding the proper avenue for the best overall value. Areas where we can assist you include but are not limited to field service and construction, field tanks, API 12F tanks and a wide range of small vessels and other production equipment.
