(SEC) holds an in-house kick off meeting for full review of a Project Execution Plan (PEP) that is developed for each project. Once the drawings are released for production and the material is on hand, jobs are assigned to a two to eight man fabrication team. Our welders are certified in required procedures and mark each weld with their assigned stamp. Each vessel is closely monitored to ensure outstanding quality and on-time delivery.
SEC’s quality control manual is reviewed and approved by the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation Boiler Division, in accordance with ASME International and the National Board. Quality control begins in engineering, continues through fabrication, and is validated in testing and customer approval. Upon receipt each piece of raw material is inspected for compliance with purchase order requirements and engineering’s bills of materials.
Working safely and ensuring safe working conditions are primary objectives for everyone from top and middle management to the line workers. Engaging in weekly, monthly, and annual safety audits, we work to consistently train and improve at SEC.
SEC welcomes customer source inspections as an addition to our internal material and quality control inspections. Our authorized inspection agency of record is Seneca Insurance Company. We are familiar with third party field surveys as performed by ABS, BV, and DNV. We make office space, phone, fax, e-mail service and all quality records available to outside inspectors giving them access to all manufacturing areas.
