Horizontal separators are today's most economical means of providing wellstream gas/fluid division. When gas-oil ratios are high, constant flow is maintained and liquid surge is minimal, the horizontal separator is better suited and less expensive than the vertical separator. Internal construction consists of the following:

(1)    Centrifugal inlet device where the primary separation of the liquid and gas is made.
(2)    A large interfacial area allowing liquid droplets to settle out of gas.
(3)    A mist extractor or stainless steel vane eliminator near the gas outlet that will coalesce small particles of liquid that will not settle out by gravity.

Our horizontal separators can be totally trimmed and interconnect piped with all necessary controls and accessories such as level controls, liquid dump valves, gas back-pressure valve, safety relief valve, pressure gauge, level gauge, instrument gas regulator and all necessary piping.
Horizontal separators are easy to service and hook up, and can be skid-mounted for quick transportation and relocation.
