Wellhead production units are designed to provide heating and separating capabilities within a pre- assembled package. These units consist of an indirect heater and high-pressure 3-phase separator (dual pack). The production unit is mounted on a skid with interconnecting piping and instrumentation, ready for hook-up and operation. Each unit is sized and designed to the customer's needs.

Standard components for the separator include: liquid level controllers, liquid dump valves with isolation valves, relief valves, thermometer, pressure gauges with isolation valves, liquid level sight glasses, wire mesh or vane mist extractors and other accessories to complete trimmed unit.
Standard components for the indirect heater include: flame fuel gas scrubber with safety shut-off valve and drain cock, thermostat with thermowell, thermometer with thermowell, high-temperature shut-down assembly, instrument regulators with pressure gauge and stainless steel instrumentation tubing and fittings. Removable coils and fire tube are also standard items on SEC indirect heaters.

Production units may be enclosed for cold weather operation. Optional accessories that can be provided include: high or low-level shut-down, flow meters, meter run with flow recorder, stack down draft diverter, pilot guard with safety shut-down control, diaphragm-operated choke, and customer- designated paints and coatings.
