Production and OperationSurface Equipment Corporation (SEC) holds a pre-production conference, either in-house or with our customers, to analyze and establish a fabrication sequence for each job. Once the drawings are released for production and the material is on hand, jobs are assigned to a two to eight man fabrication team. Our welders are certified in required procedures and mark each weld with their assigned stamp. Each vessel is closely monitored to ensure timely delivery. Quality Control
SEC’s quality control manual is reviewed and approved by the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation Boiler Division, in accordance with ASME International and the National Board. Quality control begins in engineering, continues through fabrication, and is validated in testing and customer approval. Upon receipt each piece of raw material is inspected for compliance with purchase order requirements and engineering’s bills of materials. Project Inspection
