ASME Pressure Vessels

Surface Equipment Corporation manufactures a range of pressure vessels to suit the custom needs of its clients. From oil and gas processing and production equipment to accumulators, to scrubbers, to any need for a pressure containment envelope meeting or exceeding ASME Pressure Vessel Code, Section VIII Div 1 and Div 2 requirements, Surface Equipment Corporation stands ready to assist in the design and manufacture of your vessel needs. From sizes as small as 2 inches outside diameter to as large as 15 feet outside diameter, from 8 pounds to as large as 640,000 lbs SEC has the capability, knowledge, and experience to provide the correct vessel for your needs.

Glycol Dehydrators

Surface Equipment Corporation manufactures a regenerative glycol dehydration unit that efficiently and effectively removes water vapor from natural gas.

Two-Phase Separators

The two-phase production separator is normally the second item of equipment downstream from the wellhead in the high-pressure flowing wells, or the first item of equipment in low-pressure or pumped wells.

Three-Phase Separators

Vertical:
Vertical separators are ideally suited to wellstreams characterized by surging liquids and low-to-intermediate gas-oil ratios.

Horizontal:
Horizontal separators are today's most economical means of providing wellstream gas/fluid division.

Mini-Scrubs

Surface Equipment Corporation manufactures a unique and compact vertical scrubber for fuel gases we refer to as a mini-scrub. The scrubber consists of a small pressure vessel with an inlet at bottom and outlet at top. A mist extraction screen inside removes fine particulate and liquid droplets from the gas stream. Vertical orientation allows self draining during operation.

Blow Case Units

Surface Equipment Corporation manufactures well stream blow case units for its customers on an individual customized basis. A blow case is usually a pressure assist unit for the removal of larger volumes of liquids from near well head produced gas in a small package. Pressure from the gas stream is used to force fluid from the reservoir to reduce drain cycle times and improve flow through the separation section of the units. Units are usually mounted vertically in tandem on a skidded platform. Instrumentation is provided for removal of liquids and monitoring of gas stream and vessel liquid levels.

Slug Catchers

Natural gas pipelines often contain significant amounts of liquids that can interfere with the proper operation of the pipeline and related equipment such as compressors, regulators, filters, meters and valves. The liquids normally found include hydrocarbon condensations, lubrication oils, produced water, and chemicals used in production, treatment, compression or dehydration of the gas. The liquid to gas ratio in gas production pipelines can be as high as 100 Bbls/MMSCF of gas. When gas and liquid flows in hilly terrain, the liquids tend to accumulate in the low spots or valleys of the pipeline. A slug catcher is designed to allow expansion of gas stream to slow velocity and provide a settling area for and retention of liquids carried with the produced gas flow. They must have sufficient volume to contain the liquid and allow passage of gas flow without re-entrainment of the liquid in the out flowing stream. Surface Equipment Corporation has the design experience to adequately size and match the performance needs of slug removal equipment.

Emulsion Heater Treater

As one of the most costly pieces of production equipment, care must be taken in sizing the treater system for each location.

Gas Production Units

Surface Equipment Corporation offers the finest top-of-the-line gas production units. These units consist of an indirect heater and high-pressure 3-phase separator (dual pack) or indirect heater, high-pressure 2-phase separator and low-pressure 3-phase separator (tri pack).

Dual Pack Production Units

Wellhead production units are designed to provide heating and separating capabilities within a pre-assembled package. These units consist of an indirect heater and high-pressure 3-phase separator (dual pack).

Indirect Heaters

Indirect heaters have many applications in the oil and gas industry. Basically they are used to prevent hydrates from forming after pressure reduction by choke or regulator. These hydrates "freeze up," causing blockage of gas-liquid flow.

Skidded Process Units

Surface Equipment is committed to providing an extra amount of service for our customers. Design of packaged skidded units for processing equipment has resulted in reduced need for customer assembly and integration on site. Surface Equipment Corporation can provide integration and assembly of differing configurations of process equipment to relieve the need for costly onsite erection and removal. Each skidded unit is thoroughly tested and ready for operation.
