Surface Equipment Corporation (SEC) was established in 1985 and is based in Kilgore, Texas.  SEC provides custom process system design and fabrication of pressure vessels and other process equipment which are built in accordance with the requirements of the ASME Pressure Vessel Code, Section VIII Div 1 and Div 2.   From oil & gas processing and production equipment to accumulators, scrubbers, to pressure containment envelopes, SEC assists in the design and manufacturing of vessels.  The company has successfully focused on providing quality products, outstanding service, and on-time deliveries.

In 2007, SEC became a wholly owned subsidiary of ITP, Impianti e Technologie di Processo, S.R.L., based in Rome, Italy.  Presently SEC’s operations are supervised by an accomplished management team headed by Stephen McLemore, President.

• SEC is a manufacturer of pressure vessels that are built in accordance with the requirements of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code.
• We hold the U, U2, and R certificates.
• We are certified with A2 rating by the Center Special Equipment Licensing Office (SELO) of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) of the Peoples Republic of China to manufacture pressure vessels for import to China.
• Our company holds a certificate with the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors.
